Sometimes when things are handmade they don't turn out perfect, but it doesn't mean they can't still be put to good use.
 
This pebble has a slight imperfections in the wood grain e.g. a small chip on one of side, but the other side is perfect and can be used.
 
We work hard to ensure we create as little waste as possible; so rather than 'disposing' of it by burning it in our log burner, we've decided to offer it to you instead with a discount in the hope it will find a loving new home!!
 
These beautifully hand-crafted wood pebbles are perfect for sock repairs -simply pop it inside the sock and use it to darn the toe and sole area.
 
You could even use it to repair cuffs, edges and glove palms.
 
In comparison to our Mending Macaron, the smaller size and shape of the Darning Pebble ensures you can fix a hole or well-worn area without over stretching the fabric too much.

Hand-crafted using locally-sourced and FSC approved beech hardwood. 
Each darning pebble has a smooth organic surface, rounded edges and natural unwaxed finish.
They all have their own unique character with different grain patterns.
